We are a Fairtrade 'Fair Active' School!

Our school has been awarded the Fairtrade Fair Active School Award!

We are the first primary school in Fleetwood to achieve this award!

This is an upgrade of our previous award and shows that we are not just raising awareness of Fairtrade in our school, but that we're also actively supporting it through things like hosting our own Fairtrade tuck shop.

A big 'thank you' to our pupils and families for your support with the Fairtrade home learning and tuck shop during the last academic year.

In September, we are going to set up a brand new Fairtrade Group in school so that we can continue to support this fantastic charity.

We are officially a Fairtrade ‘Fair Aware’ school!

Well done to all of our pupils for contributing to this amazing achievement-we are the first Primary School in Fleetwood to be awarded this status!

Our school's Fairtrade Group played an important role in securing this award so a big 'well done' to them! 

We have obtained this status because we have carried out a number of tasks in school to help raise awareness of the  importance of Fairtrade.

For example, some of the members of our Fairtrade group attended a Fairtrade conference at Cardinal Allen; at this conference, as well as learning lots from others, they also presented some information about Fairtrade products that they had researched themselves - we were very proud of them!

Our pupils in all classes have shown such wonderful enthusiasm for Fairtrade, which shows how caring and compassionate they are. When we are able to, our Fairtrade Group will meet again to continue our Fairtrade School journey and work towards the next  award!
