Children need to learn all of their times table facts by the end of Year 4. They will complete a statutory assessment in June based on their rapid recall of multiplication facts and in order to do this, they will need to spend a lot of time learning them!

We use songs, games, recall, self-testing amongst other ways of helping us to learn. This must continue at home! There is no way that all the facts will be learned from what we do in school and class alone.
