Remote Learning as a result of the partial school closure.

To ensure that further gaps in learning are not created, all children who have to stay at home as a result of having COVID19 but who are well enough are expected to complete the home learning tasks set daily.

Teachers will upload tasks on to Class Dojo using Portfolio.  Children are encouraged to complete the tasks online so they can access links to introduce new concepts that are being taught in school, maintain contact with their teacher and receive feedback on their tasks.

If possible, tasks should be completed daily and submitted by 3.30pm every day in order to receive same day feedback.  Teachers will endeavour to respond to any queries promptly; however, it must be appreciated that they are still teaching the rest of the class. If work is received after 3.30pm then feedback will only be given the following day.

If children do not have access to a device on which they can complete their work, we can loan them an iPad or laptop for the duration of their absence – please let school know if this is needed.
