As a school of Sanctuary, we value working with our local community and building relationships with those in our area. The dynamic of our locality is forever changing and we recognise that there are children and families that need support more than ever before. Refugee Week 2024 had the theme of 'Our Home' and we looked at the importance of feeling safe and stable.

We held an Art gallery where children's home artwork was displayed. We made worry dolls and learnt about the importance of them. We shared different texts such as, Lubna and the Pebble and The Suitcase. We looked at famous refugees and had a go at various activities.
